Selection Procedure
The ICG Assistant Commandant selection consists of five tier wise selection stages as under :

Stage-I (CGCAT): A computer based test covering questions from English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Science, and General Knowledge (100 MCQs with 400 marks in total).

Stage-II (PSB): The preliminary Selection Board includes the Cognitive Tests and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT).

Stage-III (FSB): The final Selection Board involves Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and Interviews at the Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB), Noida.
