The Intelligence Bureau (IB), nations elite internal intelligence agency which operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has released a fantastic recruitment drive for 3,717 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Executive posts grade II for the year  2025. 1. Educational Qualification:

   • Candidate should have a  Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and this criteria is non negotiable.

   • Basic computer knowledge is desirable but not compulsory at all.

2. Age Limit (as of 10 August 2025):

   • Minimum age requirement: 18 years | Maximum age requirement: 27 years.

Process of  the Selection:

The recruitment process  involves three stage process:

1. Tier-I (Objective Test): The scheme of paper pattern for this tier is as following:

   • 100 MCQs (1-hour duration) covering the Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, and English.

   • Negative marking: 0.25 shall be deducted  for each wrong answer given by the candidate.

2. Tier-II (Descriptive Test):The scheme of paper pattern for this tier is as following:

   • Essay writing (30 marks) and English comprehension/precis writing (20 marks).

3. Tier-III ( Personal Interview):The candidates who are selected in the above two stages shall be called for a personal interview

   • Personality test and security clearance (100 marks).
